This was our first time selling. We spoke to multiple local estate agents and online ones but decided to go with Dom's company. On the surface and financial reasons alone, Butler's have very good reviews, extremely competitive rates and conditions, which just shows how confident and good they are. But more importantly, when we met, Dom really listened, showed us all of the leg work he had done to value our house (a lot of the others just used an automatic programme/software). The valuation was correct for the market conditions at the time because our offers came in close to it.

Dom, Hayleigh and team were extremely warm and friendly throughout and marketed the property very well for their seller - they ensured the relevant documents and anticipated questions were prepared upfront which made it possible for us to make an offer and proceed through the survey stage at pace.
Butlers were essential in getting us to the exchange stage at speed - they were a god-send in chasing solicitors and mortgage brokers on both sides to keep the process moving for the seller and I, who both needed to complete in a short time frame. There were also a couple of curve-balls in this transaction and Dom in particular did an excellent job to pivot and respond to those issues to keep us on track. Would very highly recommend Butlers. Got good feeling the minute I walked in. They were professional about the information they took on the property I was selling, asking all the important questions, unlike some of the other more established estate agents, who seemed to just be going through the motions. They organised viewing and got back to me with a valuation within a day. Dominic then explained their way of approach and business practices which gave me great confidence that I would get a good service from them. After deciding to go with them to sell my flat they quickly organised getting photos and video done and preparing the sales particulars. I was kept well informed about viewings, and Dominic was great at handling the offers we had from interested parties and in helping to get a price for us at the top end of expectations. He then kept us well informed as he liaised with the solicitors.

What a find…………….. The team at Butler’s
After 22 years in my house, it was time to downsize. I viewed a property marketed by
Butler’s even though my house was not on the market. I offered, it was accepted and then I panicked. My daughter was getting married in two weeks in Tenerife how was I going to put the house on the market, have photographs taken, accept viewings etc…, etc…, THE STRESS!!
There was no STRESS. Dominic, Hayleigh & Hannah took care of everything. Dominic came to value my house and arranged a photographer for the same day. He was upfront and transparent in managing my expectations regarding the sale.
They had an open day whilst I was in Tenerife and the house sold. They kept me informed every step of the way.
You also have an online portal so you can view how the sale & purchase are progressing. They call at least once a week to give you an overview of what is happening and always pick up the phone if you call them.
They are personable, professional and they really care about their Clients. They have shown real integrity all the way through and I cannot thank them ALL enough.
We are a few weeks away from completion and I will honestly be disappointed not to be speaking to them anymore.
I would highly recommend Butler’s, they certainly live up to their strapline “thoughtful estate agents”.

We were approached by Dominic as he had noticed our house had been on the market for some months with another agency. After having a quick chat about what He and Butlers could offer us we were having viewings the very next day. We noticed straight away how much better Dominic was in showing potential buyers round the house and engaging with them in a much more personal casual and informative way.
He had us a potential buyer and lots of interest from others that same day.
Unfortunately that buyer did not commit but Butlers were quick to find us another buyer at the same price we wanted.

"Buying the first home is a very stressful process and the journey begins with that dream filled phone call to an estate agent who has advertised a potential house that we may end up buying.
We finally found our perfect home and are glad that it was a house advertised by Butler’s. Dominic from Butler’s was excellent right from the very first phone call we made to book the viewing. One of the points that impressed us, was the description of the house in the advert. It was not the standard information, instead it articulated how one would feel living in the house.
